The Castle

The Castle of Scipione of the Marquises Pallavicino  is one of the oldest historic castles in the region.

 

It proudly stands watching the hills breathtaking landscapeof theStirone and Piacenziano Regional Park, on the charming medieval village named Scipione Castello, just a few minutes away from the Thermal and Spa town of SalsomaggioreTerme, halfway between Parma and Piacenza, in the Emilia-Romagna region, on theCentre North of Italy.

 

The Castle of Scipione was among the first in the region to be declared a National Monument in 1922 for its historical-artistic and landscape values.
